Recently, Ive sent my doctor a letter about my complaint and ask

what he tought about it. Here below is email he wrote me. How can I

convince him about this problem, he seems to believe that there is

really nothing wrong with these drugs. One thing I was thinking I

can do is to add links along the emails but what argument can I

make ?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me.It must be frustrating

for you to have to deal with anorgasmia.

First of all, Zoloft can cause anorgasmia, as well as other sexual

dysfunction side effects, but none of these side effects are

irreversible. As far as we know from scientific medical research,

there are no irreversible side effects caused by the SSRI drugs. If

you develop a side effect from Zoloft, that side effect should be

completely gone within four to six weeks.

Some of the drugs that are occasionally used to treat psychiatric

disorders - such as the antipsychotic (or sometimes called

neuroleptic) drugs like haloperidol (Haldol), chlorpromazine

(Thorazine), thioridazine (Mellaril), and trifluoperazine

(Stelazine) - can produce irreversible neurologic problems, such as,

persistent tremor, mouth movements or tongue thrusting.Yet, even

these drugs do not cause irreversible sexual dysfunction side

effects.

I believe you suffer from either Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Major

Depression.Sexual dysfunction is a prominent symptom in both of

these conditions.Treatment involves a healthy diet, regular

exercise, counseling, and medications.

I want to prove him wrong and that these drugs are not safe. any

suggestions?
