Someone I know has been diagnosed with Bells Palsy. Has been prescribed

prednisone. Would using a 10% solution of DMSO to the affected area help

heal the nerves any quicker?

I'd try dmso as well as acunpuncture from a chinese

doctor and/or craniosacral therapy.

Belinda,

I actually treated my nephew for Bells Palsy last spring very

successfully. Of course, every one is unique, but we were quite happy how it

turned out. Note that this is a viral infection that localizes in the

nerves. Accordingly, I used DMSO anti-viral herbal tinctures plus I used a

low electrical charge device similar to a Beck blood electrifier. My nephew

was quite depressed and worried about loss of his facial muscles, but within

about a week and a half of treatment, significant use of the muscles were

retrieved. Impressive! As I recall, I used mainly DMSO/colloidal silver

painted topically and a DMSO/thuja tincture to paint the area involved. When

using DMSO in the facial regions, you should use very dilute concentrations,

around 30% or less.

Secondly, I took the electrodes of my device and placed them over the areas

and electrified the area at around .3 mA with reversing polarity for around

20 minutes or so, 2-3 times a day. The device I used can be seen and

purchased at the below site:

ps. Yes, I agree with the other poster, stay away from prednisone!
