Guest guest
Hello all, Lawrence here. I have had undiagnosed and untreated Lyme Disease for over 17 years. Various symptoms over those years were treated and they disappeared until about two years ago when I developed itching lesions on my legs (Morgellons Disease). I took 28 pages from the CDC site on Lyme Disease to my skeptical doctor. She ran tests that came back inconclusive for the baterium....which I showed her in the CDC literature was not unusual. Long term treatment with Doxycycline has cleared up the Morgellons leaving scars on my legs...and seems to be slowly clearing up the neurotoxins released by Lyme that produced chronic fatigue. I also developed Bell's Palsey on my right side a couple of years ago. This has NOT responded well to treatment. For some reason bright sunlight causes my mouth to draw on the right side and my right eye to water profusely, affecting my vision. I am 57 years old and I am concerned that the US may not last much longer as a nation....and there won't be any medical treatments available for this malady. I hate the thought of dying from this crap, incapacitated by joint pain and other symptoms. Anyone have any good treatment regimens I could try to rid myself of this? Thanks. Lawrence PS...I'm in West Texas. Evidently contracted Lyme in the 80s in Lubbock, Texas.

What else have you already tried besides doxy? Maybe you need a different antibiotic now, or a combination. Are you in touch with other Lymies in Texas. There are quite a few. - Kate (Nova Scotia Lymie -- but the Lyme came from Massachusetts)
