The doctor called it “chronic fatigue syndrome” and generally seemed to indicate it was longterm, not just a few months of recovery from the chemo etc. It was like a certain group, rather large group, did not recover after the treatment. a a can you elaborate any on people getting CFS after cancer treatment? Guest guest
, This was the information they were giving on the news report this morning. Thanks so much for posting this. It also notes that exercise can “decrease levels of pro-inflammatory cytokine expression.” I think this may explain why graded exercise seems to help cfs – it is not because we are lazy folks who didn’t exercise, but because exercise itself modulates the immune system. a I totally agree that infection is the probable cause of breast cancer [read my site] nano in particular .Read this recent info with our/your educated eye ..see what you read into this http://www.cancerfacts.com/Home_News.asp?CancerTypeId=4 & NewsId=2005 RE: [infections] Re: Inflammation/osteoporosis/Mag:Cal absorption This was not clear. Guest guest
My pleasure a, It's interesting to note that "Insulin like growth factor" is produced with exercise ...a main player within the immune system -----Original Message-----From: infections [mailto:infections ]On Behalf Of a CarnesSent: 22 May 2006 19:34infections Subject: RE: [infections] Re: breast cancer trigger , This was the information they were giving on the news report this morning. Guest guest
This is what I've been trying to say forever: (from the article) "We know from studies that animals with immune activation and cytokines circulating in their blood don't move around a lot, they don't eat, they don't engage in sexual activity," Irwin said. "From our study, we believe that the severity of fatigue in breast cancer survivors is not related to the type of treatment they received or its duration, but rather that the fatigue is driven by constant immune activation. Their immune systems simply don't shut down after treatment." I used to do yoga quite a bit, but even that became exhausting once I got really ill, legs would shake, etc. but not due to muscular weakness. It's just like when you try to exercise when you've got the flu. penny Jaep <Jaep@...> wrote: I totally agree that infection is the probable cause of breast cancer [read my site] nano in particular .Read this recent info with our/your educated eye ..see what you read into this http://www.cancerfacts.com/Home_News.asp?CancerTypeId=4 & NewsId=2005 -----Original Message-----From: infections [mailto:infections ]On Behalf Of a CarnesSent: 22 May 2006 17:12infections Subject: RE: [infections] Re: Inflammation/osteoporosis/Mag:Cal absorption This was not clear.
