Dear All,

I love reading all the 'gory details' from our seniors like Kishor and most

prolific (?compulsive)e mailer dear Duggal.

Kishor has written a story about Bruce lee Shende of our batch 1976 in his

recent letter but I slightly disagree with him.

Bruce was a a super star in action films of those times and Shende has strkingly

similar physique and similar hair cut as that of Bruce's cinema posters.

Any way here is another story from our final prof exams (with due apologies from

Pape i.e. Dr.Tarvinder Singh Oberoi).

It was our final prof exams being held at the hall above library. We were busy

in answering seemingly endless questions.

It was December 12th (Mark this ,12th month and 12th day)and as the clock

approached 12 ,something happened.

Our Principal (Princi, as we used to call Prof. M.L.Sharma, behind his back !!!)

was seemingly busy in inspecting the examinees and invigilators ,suddenly

reached near Pape (Tarvinder) who was very busy in answering the paper, and

asked smilingly " Pape ,kya hal hai? " .Pape was thunder struck but he could

readily under stand the hidden meaning of 12/12/12 and became furious.

It took some time but all of us became aware of the joke and a wave of laughter

rang through the length and breadth of the hall.

Needless to say Pape ,although nonplussed for a while ,took this joke in his

stride. He is a good friend and star of our batch in popularity.

I hope Duggal will enjoy this
