Thats funny. is the same. She is four and everytime we ask her she says threeee ! That in portuguese (tres) and ENGLISH ! Mind you that, knowing about her tendency, we only taught her the four part in English (her birthday was 2 weeks after we got to the US). Still she will say THREEEE... (we repeat and repeat - you are four, four.. and then we ask - three...). I guess they just see him as younger than he really is. They always assume he is 5 or 6 when he is 10. But he is smaller too. difference. she did play out side the other day with out me being right there. Her older sister was. They played with they girls next door in our garage and on the drive way. She did really great. So that is a huge step for her. OF course I did pop head out side to make sure everything was ok. She did not run off or as far as I can tell the thought was not there to do it. They had a picnic and the next door girls even asked Amber what did she want on her hot dog. They did not ask her sister. They asked her. And they always tell her Hi and talk normal to her. they don't treat her any different than anyone else. Which is nice. Carol
