....the fact that they don't make a claim for it means that they don't have

to list it as an active ingredient...

Interesting that you brought that up. At least one company is now getting

away without listing an ingredient, yet still makes claims. I'd like for

someone to advise me what agency I should complain to (for all the good it

may do, the way the regulators are in bed with the corporations these days).

I've used & Reach woven floss for years, First they dumped

the baking soda variety, then only had the Tartar Control and the

flouridated varieties, Now they only have the Tartar Control kind.

The TC kind used to list it's active ingredient as Tetrasodium

Pyrophosphate; now it merely says that it has an ingredient that prevents

tartar. How do they get away with that?

I can't tell but they may be trying to hide flouride. They are sure trying

to hide something! Maybe they're trying to hide something about T-P. It

prevents the absorption of Calcium and Magnesium. Hmmm, don't think I want

to use that anymore.

I've ordered G-U-M Weave Floss, unwaxed, on the internet today. It

contains nothing else, hidden or otherwise, and you can buy it in bulk much

cheaper that buying a roll of J & J at Walmart.
