Guest guest
I got this from ASSE - some good information on these new safety rules. One of the standards is given away on a complimentary basis. My clients have asked me quite a bit on this and the H.R. folks seem to have a lot of interest. ==================================================== We continue to get many inquiries from SH & E Professionals about the new ANSI/ASSE Z359 Fall Protection Code. For those interested you can read about the Code via the URLs below. The other question is if we are starting to see the Code being listed in contracts and work agreements - the answer to that one is a resounding "yes" as the Code is getting significant attention by business and industry. In regards to federal/state/local government agencies; we have had numerous inquiries for information about the Code. We assume down the road the Code will be cited by reference, but that takes time and we have not seen specific examples yet. Also, the Z359.0 Standard for Definitions and Nomenclature is provided on a complimentary basis via one of the URLs below also. http://www.asse.org/practicespecialties/engineering/docs/ByDesign_Z359Special_Fall2007.pdf http://www.asse.org/cartpage.php?link=standards http://www.asse.org/shoponline/products/Z359-0-2007.php Never miss a thing.
