Guest guest
Barb , first week I thought Cimetidine could have contended for the best laxative in the world.[not diarrhea] but no matter I could have happily lived with that ..Second week all calmed down back to normal function ..But here's the thing, over all the years of taking ABX I have never been constipated through the drugs. Strange that , the drugs were effective so resistance was not a consideration . I took 200 mg of Doxy last Saturday and you've guessed it next day I was constipated. As I've only took abx once in two weeks it maybe a coincidence but somehow I don't think so ..So the gut connection could be still there. it couldn't be that the reduced acid or reduced histamine somehow assisted in reducing the numbers of nano/spiro's ,,surly not that simple , or is it....... Cimetidine has cured my slight heartburn i sometimes experienced in the small hours I took one 250mg tab of Lamisil yeasterday , not because i needed it symptom wise , just thought i would experiment . ..
