Guest guest
That was like our experience... when on secretin, our son had normal bowel movements... Is that even available anymore? M. The biggest benefit we saw was that he almost immediately potty training when nothing else was working. He was seven years old. We didn't observe any else that was obvious in his progress while on secretin. After a year we took him off to see if he would continue to be successful with potty training and he was. Apparently the secretin corrected the problem and we have not had problems with loose stools since then. Just my experience with it. Guest guest
Yes Secretin is still available. I usually order it from People's RX in Austin (but it is available from other companies as well). I have some patients on it now. Guest guest
Wow - but how is it given now? When my son was taking it, it was the infused vial over a few minutes. That was horrid for him and I couldn't/wouldn't put him through that. I never knew how well it worked transdermally, we didn't see the same effect. How is it being used now? If it's affordable and available I may consider it again. That was the only thing that produced such immediate relief to his leaky gut... M.
