It has been my understanding, forget where I got the idea, that

combining DMSO with peroxide (H202) results in MSM.

I.e. at least some if not quite a lot of the " transport " property of

DMSO would be lost.

Sounds like it is plausible sol. Exposing DMSO to an oxidizing agent

might add the more atom of oxygen that would result in DMSO2 aka MSM.

I do not know what the exact chemical reaction would be in the body. It

would depend on where it occurred and if in the stomach if it was empty

or full of food. Personally I do not ever use DMSO with H2O2.

And yes transport properties would be lost as MSM does not transport

substances.

DMSO is naturally metabolized to 15% MSM and Dimethyl Sulfide, the

substance that smells like garlic in many of our foods and that is

responsible for the garlic odor people may give off after using DMSO in

sufficient quantities. This differs from person to person.
