Guest guest
It has been my understanding, forget where I got the idea, that combining DMSO with peroxide (H202) results in MSM. I.e. at least some if not quite a lot of the " transport " property of DMSO would be lost. comments? correction? sol Shirley wrote: > The www.silvermedicine.org <http://www.silvermedicine.org> site has > info on nebulizing DMSO/H2O2 with great success. Guest guest
Sounds like it is plausible sol. Exposing DMSO to an oxidizing agent might add the more atom of oxygen that would result in DMSO2 aka MSM. I do not know what the exact chemical reaction would be in the body. It would depend on where it occurred and if in the stomach if it was empty or full of food. Personally I do not ever use DMSO with H2O2. And yes transport properties would be lost as MSM does not transport substances. DMSO is naturally metabolized to 15% MSM and Dimethyl Sulfide, the substance that smells like garlic in many of our foods and that is responsible for the garlic odor people may give off after using DMSO in sufficient quantities. This differs from person to person.
