YES agreed on both counts BUT.......... In 2002 when I was PCR + I

had no antibodies at all against Lyme and was very symptomatic.

in 2004 I had lots of antibodies aganist Lyme and was asymptomatic -

and I'm still symptom free....

My 2005's Lyme test will be back by the end of the month (PCR on

whole blood IGmIgG on serum)

I'm hoping I'm PCR negative but have even MORE antibodies against

Lyme. I'll keep you posted.

And Kate- I'm sure there are people out there healthy as can be

that test highly positive for Lyme (antibodies). Your father could be

one of them. My brother-in-law WAS one of them, untill his last tick

bite pushed him over the edge... then he became symptomatic. He

tested CDC positive (/WB) thru a conventional lab 3 weeks after

the last bite. His Doc said he's been infected for a long time (and

he's never had any symptoms) cuz it's not possible for the body to

make the IgM/IgGs required to meet CDC criteria in only 3 weeks.
