Guest guest
I would use urine enemas and oral UT. It kills Candida very quickly. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/urine_therapy Garnet Dirk Coetsee wrote: > > > This is slightly off topic, but it's just because we've been discussing > similar things: > > Does anybody have an effective strategy for beating leaky gut? DMSO, IV, and oral, was administered to me in a complex situation that included leaky gut. An M.D. has also suggested that I could experiment with applying DMSO on the skin above the areas involved. The burning is partially related to the concentration of DMSO. Labs sells pure DMSO at 50 and 70% concentrations. You can dilute it further to determine what potency is best for you. Dr. feels that much of the DMSO available is not pure enough, and that that's particularly important for DMSO because it penetrates body tissues carrying along with it positive ingredients you may have wanted internally, using DMSO as a carrier, as well as impurities that may be on your skin or in the DMSO. I don't know about DMSO enemas, but DMSO is being used for institial cystitis.
Guest guest
The problem with CS for Leaky Gut that is secondary to Candida Overgrowth is the CS does not reach the lower gut areas where the Candida grows. That is also the problem with most supplements intended to affect the growth of Candida. Urine, oral and by enema does reach these areas. It is important to take high count probiotics, the liquid kind that is kept in the fridge at the health food stores. Yogurt and even capsules cannot touch the counts in these liquids. They also have more species of beneficial organisms. Taking fructooligosaccharides, found in water soluble fiber and supplement form is important to feed the probiotics. DMSO orally should only be consumed on an empty stomach or nausea will follow. I have not used it as an enema but would probably try 30% initially and work up if that is comfortable. I do not find that it burns the mucous membranes in my mouth so I would not think it would burn as an enema in low concentrations. I am always amazed that people think their skin is full of impurities that might be carried in by DMSO. What is it that could be on your skin? And why not just wash the area and stop obsessing. To me it sounds like FUD perpetuated by Big Pharma. Keep in mind that it ONLY transports molecules of 1000 daltons or less. That is a very limited size of molecule that many substances surpass. It can not therefore carry in a bacteria, a virus, dirt and many other of the so called impurities that people might be concerned about. As far as the purity of DMSO, I have only heard these concerns from those selling what they claim is more pure. Can you say conflict of interest? Guest guest
Hi Dirk....I went thru that nightmare several years ago and overcame it...it is candida..I had all my mercury fillings taken out to begin with, destressed my life, started taking valerian root or passion flower to calm me down. Doc put me on two antifungals...Zyflufcan and Nystatin one is systemic the other aims right for the gut to kill off the yeast...I was also tested to see what I had been eating that causes the bowels to react...got a list and stayed away from all those foods...I also started taking psyillium husks and slippery elm to sooth the intestinal walls that are so inflamed....no junk food, no pop, filtered water only....get some good probiotics going in you as well...and yes I did retention enemas with the cs too....I also put a heating pad on my stomach as much as possible it seems to help with the healing process...that should start you off if you have further questions or comments...email me privately I will be more than happy to help someone thru this awful disease....debbieDirk Coetsee wrote: This is slightly off topic, but it's just because we've been discussing similar things:Does anybody have an effective strategy for beating leaky gut? Guest guest
Hi Garnet, Thanks for the info. I thought CS had a systemic effect: even without DMSO? I know somebody who consumed it orally for a toe fungal infection with success. I take EM which I think is the best liquid probiotic (www.eminfo.info) I always actually considered urine therapy after reading about it on curezone, but never had the guts to try. At the time I was also on some bad meds and decided that drinking my own urine might be a bad thing. Are you really sure it will help? I mean, you can understand it's not something I'd try lightly!!! Then again, I don't even know that it's Candida that's causing my leaky gut. My first doctor thought it was parasites. I know Diflucan never cleared it. The problem with CS for Leaky Gut that is secondary to Candida Overgrowth is the CS does not reach the lower gut areas where the Candida grows. Guest guest
Did that all work? I really have tried a lot. I can't go on long term Diflucan and Nystatin though. Too expensive. I think that psyllium (and maybe bentonite) is a good idea. I can't avoid trigger foods though. All foods are trigger foods. On 11/14/06, Deborah Gerard < devorahg99@...> wrote: Hi Dirk....I went thru that nightmare several years ago and overcame it...it is candida..I had all my mercury fillings taken out to begin with, destressed my life, started taking valerian root or passion flower to calm me down. Guest guest
Interesting. Thanks for the heads up. I was no familiar actually with the practice of urine retention enemas. Once trouble is that I can no longer follow my zero carb diet. It was proving worse for my health than eating carbs so I think because of my recent diet change (which includes some fruit) the candida is a bit worse. It's so annoying. I don't get why my body can't just kill it. I think I'll try your suggestions. Many thanks. DMSO could really help with the inflammation meanwhile. I should try get some more. Guest guest
Concern regarding the purity of the DMSO is, we, suggest, possibly related to the existence of different grades of DMSO, just as there are different grades of other chemicals and nutrients, such as chlorella, E, SAME, and echinacea. It may well be that some DMSO brands are over-priced, just as is true with supplements, but we choose not to take unnecessary risks with our health with something as powerful as DMSO, particularly if one is interested in oral and IV uses. Rather than casting profit aspersions on those who raise these questions, I suggest you do some factual checking into the differences, if any, between DMSO that one company may sell for $6.00, and another company for $35.00. Guest guest
I do DMSO enemas and it doesn’t burn at ALL! I mix it with the CS and I also do urine therapy, but if that is too radical just try the CS and DMSO. I tell you, I feel great! I have suffered from a whole wad of health problems for years due to my different conditions and my life has changed. I now can run my young Shepard with a four wheel bicycle for miles. I am going and doing and reorganizing my house and getting ready to paint. I have started trimming bushes and mowing besides I care for my handicapped husband. I am living again and not taking meds, except for blood pressure. Today I started doing oil pulling (oilpulling.com) and I do not have a clue if it is real or quackery but I didn’t know that about DMSO, CS or urine therapy until I tried it. My feet used to hurt so much in the mornings when I got up, my fingers and hips ached with arthritis and my shoulder was a horror, partly due to injury and partly do to a mastectomy. I can reach above my head again, and have only the barest twinges in the other places. Ulcerative colitis was so bad that I hated to go out to eat because I spasemed after eating or took spells of vomiting and hurting. The CS improved that years ago, but I still had some problems. But with this combined therapy my bowels are normal, like they were when I was a young woman. I have not had any bloodwork done on my HCV, but I feel good and that is the proof of the pudding for me because I sure did not used to feel good at all. Again, I say that other’s mileage may vary because there are many interconnected things that are different with each individual, such as HCV genotype and distinct genetic strengths and weaknesses and many other factors. But it is working for me and I am very grateful for all of the info that I have gotten from Garnet and Carl and the other knowlwdgable people who have shared on this and other lists that we frequent. Let every day, bring what it may, be a GOOD day! Nikki This is slightly off topic, but it's just because we've been discussing similar things: Does anybody have an effective strategy for beating leaky gut? I'm not sure if it's candida or parasites causing it. I was thinking maybe high doses of CS for a long time + CS enemas. Does anybody here actually do DMSO enemas? Doesn't it burn like mad? Guest guest
I place about a tsp of DMSO gel in the mouth of my enema bag then wash it in with about a cup of CS and my morning urine, then I shake it up good and insert. If I can hold it about 20 or 30 minutes laying in my recliner there is little liquid to evacuate. This morning I spent the time swishing the oil for the oil pulling, so i double used my time. Guest guest
It would be absolutely great...if someone with a microscope did the oil pulling technique and was able to confirm the residual "parasites" under a slide. It is simple enough. New to Westerners certainly, the technique would be a great if not an invaluable adjunct to cleanses and especially, I would think for people with Lymes and Morgellans. Guest guest
I have heard of this for some time and it is quite knowledgeable with some other groups and soooo easy this is from the oilpulling site....debbie The method In the morning before breakfast on an empty stomach you take one tablespoon in the mouth but do not swallow it. The oil is slowly moved in the mouth as rinsing or swishing and Dr Karach puts it as ' sip, suck and pull through the teeth' for fifteen to twenty minutes. It is thoroughly mixed with saliva. Swishing activates the enzymes and the enzymes draw toxins out of the blood. Thus, the oil must not be swallowed, for it has become toxic. As the process continues, the oil gets thinner and white. If the oil is still yellow, it has not been pulled long enough. It is then spit from the mouth , the oral cavity must be thoroughly rinsed and mouth must be washed thoroughly. The sink must be cleaned because the spittle contains harmful bacteria and toxic bodily waste. If one were to see one drop of this liquid magnified 600 times under a microscope, one would see microbes in their first stage of development. It is important to understand that during the oil-pulling/swishing process one's metabolism is intensified. This leads to improved health. One of the most striking results of this process is the fastening of loose teeth, the elimination of bleeding gums and the visible whitening of the teeth. The oil pulling /swishing is done best before breakfast. To accelerate the healing process, it can be repeated three times a day, but always before meals on an empty stomach. Precautions (a) Do not swallow. The oil should be spat out. But inadvertently if you swallow there is nothing to worry. It will go out through faeces. Nothing is to be done. ( If you are allergic to a particular brand of oil, change the brand of oil or oil itself to different oil. © Sunflower and Sesame oil have been found to be equally effective in curing diseases. Other oils were not found to be as good. Do not blame oil pulling by practicing with other oils. Use refined oilCarol Ann wrote: It would be absolutely great...if someone with a microscope did the oil pulling technique and was able to confirm the residual "parasites" under a slide.
