Guest guest
Hi all Just to give you a general run of the mill idea what antibioitics do when they meet the bugs. The plate on the left is stap[h epidermis (coagulase negative staph)Possably. The plate on the right looks and responds strongly like pseudonmads auriganosa ..Most bacteria need to be tested for coagulation and other biochemical tests that go the whole way to get a succesfull 100% this is this definition. The drugs chosen rteflect the types of outcomes you'd expect with pseudonomads the quinolones are important/gentamicicn. the staphs are penicillins cepohalasporins and heavy hitters but in this scenario you want good double bang coverage so we crossed over a few. Any questions welcome. tony
