Guest guest Posted April 17, 2007 Report Share Posted April 17, 2007 Ughhhhhhh. The guy who sits opposite me (about four feet across the desk) keeps chewing his nails. He lifts his head right up and to the side every time he does it, like he's straining to pull the nail off. Then it comes off with a snap and he looks at it, rubs it between his fingers a couple of times, and puts it in the bin next to his desk. He also picks his zits and then looks at whatever he's pulled off his face before flicking it into the bin or onto the desk. I was in court not too long ago and the guy that I was stuck sitting next to kept digging in his ears and then scraping the stuff out of his fingernails with his TEETH!!! It was sick as hell. I just stared at him in disbelief, I was practically burning a hole in his head with my eyeballs and he didn't even notice, just kept on digging. Nail chewing sicks me out too. I couldn't go around my mother-in-law when she didnt have acryllic nails on because she would frantically bite her nails non stop the whole time we'd visit. She's bite them and then use her tongue to rub along the rough jagged edge and she'd also do that where they turn their head and really get into it, trying to gnaw away from every angle. It's just all so sick. WHY do they do it?
