This very true Ann..i'll try anything to avoid surgery...its funny, with sinusitis ..we use warm steam to open the block sinus..in my case..COLD AIR AND ICE PACKS HELP ME TO OPEN THE SINUS AIRWAYS..Heat is not good in my case..again everybody's case is different.....i made the mistake by using warm or hot mist..as i should had use cold mist..i live in the north,and this time of year, we have the heat on..in which makes things worse for me..i have the heat turn well down ,and use a ceiling fan in my bedroom and use cool air...Ann Greenberger <greenline@...> wrote: We

ALso throw out your pillows, all of them on your bed and buy either

cotton or wool-filled. A recent study showed pillows whether down or

synthetic are filled with fungi an d dust mites. Cotton or wool

filled can be washed and dried periodically.
