Hi Penny,

thanks for reading this. The procedure would be to

remove the concha bullosa, removal of any infected

tissue, an ethmoidectomy and enlargement of sinus

openings. I think the problem is the blockage and

inflamation right now so don't believe there are any

organisms to analyze. I don't really have to have this

done, but for my own sanity and to get my life back am

strongly considering it. 4 of the ENTs told me the

same thing about my case with regards to surgery. Do

you know what concha bullosa are?

,

thanks for the information and names of dr's. I'm not

sure I want to get surgery for this, but who would. I

guess I'll have to if it's blocking up the rest of my

sinus passageways.

Hi,

I read Dr. Kennedy's book on Chronic Sinusitis last

month. I'm fortunate to live in an area surrounded by

very good surgeons and within the proximity of NYC.

When I look for dr's now, I check the state website

and veryify licenses, disciplinary actions, lawsuits,

etc. I also try to talk to people, but have found that

each person has his or her own unique case with

varying results. Have you ever seen Dr. Tichnor?
