,

You might check with your school district. Klein ISD is exploring the idea this summer of having a social skills classes for students on the spectrum. I would also recommend you check out the Redd School's summer camp. My son went both seessions last year and loved it. The regular summer camp is 9:00-3:30 every day with swimming, crafts and horse back riding. The children also put on a play at the end of the first session. My son is seven and loved it!

Summer programs and on-going social opportunitiesTo: Texas-Autism-Advocacy Date: Monday, March 9, 2009, 5:42 PM

Is anyone aware of summer programs in the Weatherford or Fort Worth area for my 9 year-old son? I'd also be interested in any other social opportunities that may be on-going.He's high functioning and would benefit greatly from some social opportunities! Thanks!
