14 yr old daughter diagnosed

Hi all

Our daughter has just been diagnosed with ACM1. We live in Melbourne,

Aus. We have been at specialists the last 3 yrs to try and find what

was wrong with her , -the ACM was found by chance after a fall from

her horse. Her worst symptom is nausea and dizziness - and during

these spells she is very red-faced and does not move and cannot get

up. (she is going into her 4th week in bed at the moment-she is

normally energetic and high spirited) Is this a common symptom and

does anyone have any ideas why? She has no syrinx. She also has braces

which mask some of the mri scan - we are considering taking these off

to get better imaging? Unfortunately we are struggling to find a

doctor here exp with Chiari. We feel desperate to help her. Thank you,
