Guest guest
Yes .. I find it very interesting in those " pro choice" mindsets, that They are really Anti Choice. They simply want to keep people in the dark. They don't want to tell people the facts about what abortion does to their baby - OR what their options are, OR even let people know if their baby will feel pain or not. ( studies show about 16 weeks.. though I personally believe its younger) I mean these same people ( Barb Boxer etc) are AGAINST giving the fetus a pain killer ! But yet they will be happy to rip them limb from limb. Seems Barbaric to me. So I am anti abortion.. Yet.. seems like the " pro choicer" are also ANTI choice.. as they do not want to let women know what is really going on in there. Good Gravy.. 48 hours.. that all.. its a life changing choice.. and they don't even want to wait 48 hours ??!! Good GRAVY.. I don't even think a woman is allowed to sign legal documents for 48 hours after giving birth.??!! Will have to find that out.. but that was how it used to be. Steph [DownSyndromeInfoExchange] off topic for people who don't want to talk about politics... FOCA...wouldn't this invalidate the Kennedy-Brownback bill that was just passed? Freedom Of Choice Act would invalidate : Laws requiring that girls and women seeking abortion receive certain information on matters such as fetal development and alternatives to abortion, and then wait a specified period before the abortion is actually performed, usually 24 or 48 hours. In her press release, Boxer referred to these as "antichoice propaganda lectures." (The Supreme Court said in its 1992 Casey ruling that such regulations are constitutional as long as they do not impose an "undue burden" on obtaining an abortion.) end quote http://www.nrlc.org/FOCA/LawmakersProposeFOCA.html Isn’t that what the Kennedy-Brownback Bill is all about? Giving information on Down syndrome and alternatives (such as adoption?)
