Guest guest
Absolutely...you can have chiari without headaches. Interestingly, not everyone who has high intracranial pressure has a headache as a result (probably why so many people with NPH are misdiagnosed with Alzheimers...you've probably seen the commercials) I think I posted this once before..but I'll repeat it here because it's an interesting point. There was a study done in which patients ICP was purposely raised (fluid injected into the spinal canal). The result was surprising - some patients reported agonizing pain but others reported no pain at all. Of course, this was not an ethical study...and I believe it was done on unwilling participants. I can't remember any other details (sorry). in land --------------------------------- Check out the all-new Yahoo! Mail beta - Fire up a more powerful email and get things done faster.
