We are confirmed! 's surgery will be July 10 at 7:30 am. Now, do I cancel dance camp and rethink our trip to DC??? Hmmm....

I think I may have to cancel Dance Camp, I know she went to Girl Scout Camp 4 days after her lengthening last year. But I was with her all day and we had arrangements in place that she could go the nurse if the activity was too much for her. Dance camp would be 3 days after and would involve, well, dancing and such.

As for DC, that is planned for two weeks after the surgery, but we haven't made any hotel reservations or anything yet. Our plan has been to drive there. My concern is all the walking and it's not like I can put a 7 year old in an umbrella stroller (and I hate those!) when she gets tired. I thought maybe a pillow padded wagon??? We can put it in my van, that's not a problem. And I can't see where using it in the sonian or something would be any more trouble than someone with a triple stroller. We could leave it outside if need be, I will bring a bicycle lock. Thoughts? Ideas?
