Weight gain issues with Chiari

Yes, I too have had a sizeable weight gain since this Chiari crap

hit me. I am only 5 feet tall and am small boned and believe you

me, there is no place for the weight to disburse itself evenly.

All my life I have been very active and weight was never a problem

UNTIL this crap hit me. I have gained between 20-25 lbs. and am

absolutely miserable!!!!!!!! Of course, it doesn't help that I am

no longer able to have the active life I once enjoyed --

fortunately, I can still walk, so try and get a daily walk in,

weather permitting.

I have tried some of those new diet fat burning pills, but they are

a joke -- and I KNOW better than to take stuff like that -- but out

of desperation...

And what really gets me is I have absolutely NO appetite and I do

watch what I eat, when I do eat and only allow myself the occasional

goodie.

So, what's the deal here. Have a lot of nausea, nothing taste good

anymore and no appetite and I'm still gaining weight!! My gosh,

you'd think I was anorexic with as little as I eat. And the not

being able to exercise -- well, I tried to do some different simple

exercises about 3 weeks ago and yep, forget that -- that's not

happening again and then I got the bright idea to try a hula hoop --

oh, wasn't that a fools folly -- the CCI let me know immediately

that I shouldn't of done that. So, the hula hoop will just go into

a closet til my granddaughter is old enough to play with one.

I sure would be interested to learn how others with Chiari and TCS

and CCI have dealt with the weight gain.
