Hi all,

I am def going to do the garlic, good for a body all the way around. I am not sure, but did somebody post about the smell though? I know that if it is odorless pill junk - it is not good for you - at all.

I have to look for that source on the ear pain! It actually was corrections to a previous book this guy had written. So it was a supplement he let people download for free. Really interesting actually. I don't know that amount of drops - I think it was more of a: if you have this ear pain, pull back and reduce on the teasel!!! It was mentionioned by - is it Zhang? Or chang? that has the herbs (chinese) protocol? Darn it I hate when I print all of this stuff and then lay it around! Dang it.

The Sovereign Silver is the FIRST brand I had. I liked it a lot!

So: I will be trying the CS (and yes, was crazed and doused a tissue and breathed it it) and will get the correct stuff to do it. :) I pasted and printed all the info on the garlic and CS. A beautiful thing!

All can see I was exhausted from my freak visit today. Now I am up. Dang it!

So.....I read and research...

You all rock - again!

MJ

Again - will post mold plans when I can get a firm plan and money! I have been asking anyone and everyone about how to fix the thing so it doesn't leak anymore! I rarely have standing water, so it's not like it's poring in. On that one, so far as I can see, the cheapest "fix" to start with is rain gutters to draw water away from house. I do have a s. pump.

Hi MJ,

How is water coming into your basement? Through the wall? If this is

rainwater, then yes, gutters are a good start... Also, there is a material you

can paint on your walls that prevents any kind low flow moisture from coming

through the wall, I actually saw this on a home improvement show a while back...

First though, you will have to get all the mold off of the wall, it has to be

very clean... I don't recall the name of this product, but most likely carried

at Lowes or Home Depot... And then there is this tutorial, maybe it will be of

help...

Hey Jim,

Are you thinking about something along the lines of thorough-seal? Not sure of the spelling.

I tried that, but it was a "stop-gap" as Lena says and didn't work because the water was still coming in. I have to get the water part out and I think the gutters is the first way to go to get it away from the house.

I am going to get an ozonater to rent by the way. And the white vinegar to clean. Also fans going in the basement along with the dehumid.

The one thing that I will do is seal the block. the SO says he thinks now the mold is probably inside the block (holes) which I think is correct. So I need something that we can pour down in the holes from the top of the wall where there is an opening. Maybe get a pressure washer and spray the vinegar in there?

Haven't had time for the vinegar yet - just went down there tonight and it seems like I can really smell that darn mold a lot heavier now.

MJ

thanks for the tutorial

Hey ,

While I agree with you 100% +, I did that once and wouldn't wish it on anyone...

Of course I did all the work!

Often a gutter where there isn't one can remedy the problem... And painting a

sealant on the wall would prevent any water that the gutter didn't get rid of...

But if that doesn't work, well them MJ, is right, attack it from the

source, outside and eliminate the problem forever... Or do this from the

get-go...

Another thought also is getting some dirt and building a slope away from the

house... Often water puddles for a reason, too much too quickly off the roof or

the grade is flat or slightly sloping towards the house... If this is the

problem, sloping away from the house might work...
