BTW Tony I wrote Tarello and got no response.

I am trying, trying, trying, to get a pathologist to do a blood smear

to see if we can see babesia in my blood cells. I really would like

to see it before I embark on antimalarials even though my fish (RNA)

test was positive.

I HATE, absolutely hate, the way medicine is conducted here. Its so

hard to get anywhere, I'm about ready to go get my own microscope and

learn stuff like you did...

The second best thing to do is find out the correct staining

procedure for babesia and red blood cells.Actually you may have more

luck reading up this stuff in vet circles.I do know how easily

walter catches this stuff.I do recall him telling me that many of

his cfs smeras were a bacterial zoo of organisms. He does have

microbiology and vetenarian techniques covered extremely well as he

has written many vet books on topics like parasites and the like. -

You're probably right about vet circles. They're always way ahead of

us.
