Tony, when you took amoxycillin, did you take probenecid with it to keep the blood levels high? - Kate
Guest guest
Kate My first real relief from my pain come from doing amoxacillin(by accident)my mother actually had some in the cupboard and thinking it won't kill me to try an antibiotic. at this point no-one in history ever died from these drugs, just the opposite I thought.Oh!! I had also been given augmentin- which was useless. The relief from neck stiffness/headache was instant with amoxacillin, but the following six months were a nightmare as the infection on 3 amoxal a day was not going away, there was also a week inbetween getting another, then another prescription. The amoxacillin eventually no longer worked, I then realised that this infection/s needs the other end of the scale as far as treatment goes, this three pills a day stuff just doesn't do anything to real infections. The other thing I found when using a drug against a big infection like ours your drugg is all used up- instaed of circulating and finding, I felt like your hitting a brick wall of infection and trying to chisel it down. So I'm all for doing multiple IV's six a day to keep the pressure on as opposed to keeping things circulating.I just don't think you can beat strength and duration of therapy required to fix your problem at hand.I would personally not hesitate to do some IV's on the challenges at hand with my elbow. if I could easily. The actual science would be interesting because I feel in long term arthritis like this sample- it's walled off from most things and needs some kick ass therapy to break it down.Actually the ibuprofen with the antimicrobial may be an option is some? You need to get thru scar tissue and inflammation so you've alway's got a job at hand. > > > my staph areus used to be highly sensitive to > > most antibiotics including I think amoxacillin last time I bothered > > testing. > > Tony, when you took amoxycillin, did you take probenecid with it to > keep the blood levels high? > > - Kate >
