Guest guest Posted October 16, 2005 Report Share Posted October 16, 2005 Sue: I've had 2 tissue biopsies - both from the leading edge of cirlcular purplish flat (under the skin looking) lesions (or ACA) thought to be late Lyme - and BOTH times the dermatologist preserved the sample wrong so when they got to the labs (Igenex and MDL) they couldn't be tested. So- after you settle on a lab, make sure you kow how they have to be preserved. FdX has a little histology specimen package you can pick up a head of time - and if you have to you can drive the package to FedX if it's too hard for the Doc to do...
