Guest guest
> > I SLEPT FOR AN HOUR!!! WOOT! > > Hi Holly, I so TOTALLY understand! My sleep has been bad for 20 years, but it has been getting worse since my chiari decompression. Up until I got an infection 2 weeks ago, I was getting 15 mins per night. When I got the infection, I'd had 15 mins of sleep per night for 3 weeks! Then, as usually happens when I get sick, I felt like I had a lead weight attached to me, so I could sleep. I've had sleep studies and seen about 5 sleep docs. No one knows why I don't sleep other than that I don't make any melatonin, and supplementing with it doesn't really work. As for the melatonin, I take it anyway, because recently they found a link to breast cancer and low melatonin levels. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that you aren't alone! I guess it's common for chiari patients to have sleeping problems. But, geez, when you are the one not sleeping, it sure would be nice if someone would do something about it, you know? Take care, Suzette > ================ > > >
