I too have been heavier than I should have been, but I finally, after many years have taken control of things. I finally realize that food is not a catharsis for my troubles and all it does it make things worse. I have learned that if I want a snack I reach for a handful or two of walnuts or pecans,apples or whole grain pretzels. I walk now. I started doing indoor walking with Austin every day. THen when I got laid off from work, started walking outside. Now rain or shine, I walk 1 hour a day 5-6 days a week. I am freezing but I continue. I have kept the weight down. Thru walking and other food methods I have managed to go from 191-156 and keep it around 156-158 never letting it get higher. I have to go now. My hips hurt a little but I am sure they will get better with the more I walk. I hope to walk 10 miles next weekend Hugs, in Texas (TnT) Give yourself a real pay raise. GET OUT OF DEBT!
