Guest guest
Have you tried hypnosis? If so, what has been your experience of using hypnosis? Did you use someone who " only " did hypnosis or a doctor who also did hypnosis? What type of technique was used? (relaxation, pendulum, watch, instant induction, NLP, EFT, etc.) __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Depends. Did what type of patter/talk did he use to try to help you? Was it suggestion to improve/get better or did he try to take you to an earlier event? Or both? --- lightsoutluther wrote: > > > > > Generally difficulty concentrating requires an > instant > > induction and/or more specialized techniques. Guest guest
Hypnosis can work very well and easily for sexual issues. I work with that stuff all the time. It works very well provided: There are no medical issues involved with having an erection (prostate, blood vessels, etc.) and you are healthy enough to have sex. Chemicals that do not act consistently the same over an entire population, may or may not be the issue. The only time I know if they are on SSRIs, is when they are still on them. I have yet to find ANY blocks to recovery when they are OFF them -- It is very easy and very fast when they want the " lost " feelings more than they want the feeling(s) blocking it. My experience with men is I haven't found anything that was more important blocking getting the sexual feeling back. Approx40% of Women I worked with have a tendency to enjoy " wallowing " in their emotional blocks -- that takes work and willingness to work thru to success. e.g not sex dysfunction client but shows point: I had a client who went into " rages " over trivial things. Came in to get over it (she was on several anti anxiousness meds) did regression to cause. At moment of truth -- either get rid of rage fits totally or keep them -- she said she liked the feeling and wanted to keep them. I eventually worked around that but an easy hour session turned in to a 3.5 hour session. It takes a little more work on my part to work thru the " drug fog " but i have seen hypnosis help a lot. What I see with my clients is that when something does NOT act consistently over EVERYone, then there is something else at work -- either something else organic or something learned. The mind is just an organic computer, experience and genetics and environment are the programs. I have had good success with a client on Celexa (he was on that with another anti dep + BP meds+prostate meds.) Still on them and functions well -- sometimes takes a tadalifil for an extra boost and to be sure for timing(Says he doesn't need it when wakes up). Acouple other were on several anti-dep don't recall what, worked excellent for the men that had a partner that encouraged performance but only temporarily for the ones where partner did not share). I have had a few clients that were successful that the pills and testosterone patches had quit working -- I do not know if they were on SSRIs (52,55,48,35, 77). But from what I know of their history they either were on them or were once on them. When a man or woman wants the improvement and they have a willing partner, my work is very easy and very fast (depend on drug fog). Partner may need a session or 2 also. I had several female clients on effexor that the hypnosis worked extremely well for. e.g. My oldest successful client is 77 yo male. I was working with him to get rid of the nightmares and crying episodes from a Korean war incident and to help him regain some movement in his left hand from a stroke 3.5 years ago. Once the Korea trauma + some other stuff was taken care of and Once his movement started getting better, he wanted to be able to have an erection and orgasm again (that stopped several years before the stroke). To make a long story short, he is VERY happy now. --- v0rnan19 wrote: > > , > > What has been your experience with hypnotizing > people who are still on > SSRIs?
