Guest guest
I'd like to write in. Are you sending yours to the snail mail address for the MA LD Coalition (below)? Does that fax number reach them too, or the legislature? > I wanted to attend these hearings and read my testimony- but couldn't > be guaranteed the time- as they're taking Mass residents first- so > I'm sending my written testimony. > > This is fairly short notice- but for those of you have have maybe > already written your story- please forward it to the address below so > it'll go on record. > Thanks, > Barb > > > > > _____________________________________________________________________ > LYME HEARINGS IN MASSACHUSETTS > > > The Joint Massachusetts Legislative Committee on Public Health has > announcedthat there will be a Public Hearing on Lyme Disease > beginning 10:00 am,Wednesday, October 12th in Hearing Room A-1 at the > Massachusetts State House,Beacon Hill, Boston. > > > The program will begin with testimony from an expert panel consisting > of: > > * Fallon, MD, MPH Columbia University College of Physicians > and Surgeons; Director, Lyme Disease Research Program, NY State > Psychiatric Institute; Principle Investigator for N.I.H. Guest guest
My interest being, that I would rather attest independantly, not via an organization whose views I may not completely share in fine (whether due to actual differences of views, or to them knowing more than I yet know about things like outcomes of erythema migrans patients). <usenethod@y...> wrote: > I'd like to write in. Guest guest
I spoke to Coughlan (his phone number is in the attached post) and I decided to send it to him at the snail mail addy- because I didn't want to send it to some committee in never never land. He's going to hand deliver the ones sent to him. I'm not sure if the fax number is his or not - you'd need to ask him that. Guest guest
I agree- I am not a groupy type. My testimony was addressed to the Joint Massuchausetts Legislative Committee on Public Health, ther subject was my Testimony for the Hearings and the return address was my personal address.... I did not reference the coalition. He'll just make sure it gets in the right hands. Barb > > I'd like to write in. Guest guest
Thanks, Barb. I am fairly certain that I contracted Lyme while growing up in Massachusetts. Even though I am Canadian now, I will send something. - Kate On Sunday, September 18, 2005, at 10:08 AM, Barb Peck wrote: > I wanted to attend these hearings and read my testimony- but couldn't > be guaranteed the time- as they're taking Mass residents first- so > I'm sending my written testimony. > > This is fairly short notice- but for those of you have have maybe > already written your story- please forward it to the address below so > it'll go on record. > Thanks, > Barb
