Guest guest
I had a dr. appointment today and learned something interesting. My Igg came in negative for mycoplasma for the third time. I thought my doc was about to stop the abx. I was wrong. My feeling is I am still infected. My doc informed me that my Igm was rising, which often happens when the therapy is working and shows that I am having a good immune reaction. This information coupled with the fact that I can feel the abx hit their target, accompanied by a toxic feeling rush of sweat out of the top of my head helped my doc conclude that abx should continue. Apparently my upward Igm movement is something new, and it should start to stabilize toward the final death of the infection. I may not have this completely correct (???), but explained as I understand it. Thank God for docs who CAN understand some of this. Has anyone with mycoplasma experienced this?
