Guest guest
Hi Liz, It sounds awful to have to take that many painkillers each night, but I'm sure you are doing what you have to do. I'm not a doctor, but make sure you protect your stomach by eating something to buffer the medication, and to get your liver regularly checked! Best to you- Heidi (Bexon's Mom) Subject: VISIT TO PLASTIC SURGEONTo: helpandanswerstoanyproblems , congenitalscoliosissupport , Depression_and_Loneliness , depression-anxiety , depressionwithhope , ehlers-danlos-syndrome , friends_of_disabled_uk@..., friendship_bracelet , handicappedfriends@..., "Healing Friends" <healing-friends >, infantile_scoliosis , life-with-scoliosis , lovingwithdisabilities , michellesonlinefriends , opendiscussionwithhope , paininfo , peacefulcornersofescape , people_who_understand_the_pain2 , psychological_disability_advocacy , scoliochat , scoliosisnutty@..., somebodylikeme , supportfordisabilitiesanddisabled , susies-friends-forever , thecomfort_zone , thep_o_o_pgroup , twistedspinesuk@...Cc: elfran49@...Date: Wednesday, May 13, 2009, 1:11 PM Graham's tumour was all removed last year which is good. I cannot have a skin graft on my back as the problem is caused by bone (my rib hump), an operation would be too risky for me to help with the pain, I would need a very big operation. At the moment I therefore need to take about 5 painkillers at night, tramadol, codeine and 2 paracetomol, I don't think this is satisfactory however but I can't sleep otherwise, I still get pain with the painkillers! I have scoliosis Hope you are OK. Liz x
