Speaking of hormone replacement, and in this case, estrogen replacement

therapy, do you know how they get Premarin? They put mares in small stalls,

where they are only able to stand, and impregnate them. This is how they

mass produce estrogen. They take it from the Mares Urine. After she has

calved, the cycle begins again. The male horses are sold to factories, and

the females are kept to continue the cycle. Is that animal cruelty, or

what?! Barb, I thought you might be particularly interested in this due to
