Guest guest
OK, say you want to look for bacteria in a subject using immunoelectron microscopy. You need antibody to the bacteria, but maybe you dont know what their in vivo antigenic profile might be, or really you might not even know what taxa youre looking for. So you dont know what antibody to use. So why not obtain antibody from the subjects own blood? Or, better, pool it from several subjects who all have the disease phenotype of interest? Anyone ever hear of this? Ibrahim did something like this in MS, at least sorta, but I've never heard of it elsewhwere. I just searched [autologous IEM {serum/immunoglobulin/antibody}] in pubmed and got nothin. What gives.
