Guest guest
Yes, you can open up the capsules and sprinkle it on food... I wouldn't sprinkle it on anything steaming hot, but things that are warm would be fine... toast/buttered toast works. You can stir it into beverages. I would put the probiotic powder in the glass first, add the liquid and as the liquid is coming in, STIR it, so that it will mix in well. If it is clumpy, next time, try using a fork. If it is still clumpy then what you can do is get a lidded cup or any lidded container, and then SHAKE the juice/probiotic together to get it more evenly mixed in. Who is it that says " shaken not stirred " -- Bond, right? ... Whenever something doesn't stir in well, shaking it in usually works. W > > How would I give this to my three year old? Guest guest
Actually no, it doesn't. Very bland. And if this doesn't work, they do make probiotics that are MEANT to be dumped in liquids and dissolve easily, so if this doesn't work, then consider trying one of those. I know there are some made by HLC and a couple of others, and I'm sure listmates know of some that we could probably locate for you on the internet. maryW > > Thanks!!! Guest guest
I wanted to tell you a little more about probiotics and InLiven which is also a super food. It is a powder that has to be kept refrigerated and can be put in juice or a smoothie. I just had some in milk (organic). I've put a very good explanation of what it is an why it is helps your health and helps your body function. http://www.nurturingorganics.com/mivitality.pdf Please let me know if you have questions. Guest guest
Dear , I just purchased Pro Gold from kirkman Labs in a chewable, they were 48.00 but they taste sweet, they do contain aspertame, but she takes them no problem cause they're sweet.CHRISTOPHER LOY wrote: As soon as my dd gets up from nap, I'm heading to the health food store to get some probiotics. I'm wondering if they have to be refrigerated? I'm going to pick up the chewable ones, I think. I called them yesterday and they told me they also have a powder but that the chewables taste like candy and I shouldn't have a problem getting her to take them.
