Guest guest
Hello: Yes Steve is a real piece of work! I have never wished him ill wiil. It just really got to me that he supposedly started this thing to save his life and be around for his family. He has publictly asked people for money and as of this date has recieved over $70,000 in donations. This comes from a reporter I have had contact with. That is how he now stays in motels every night. As for weight loss as you said it has been almost 0! The reason the guy hates me is back in August I wrote him and he wrote me back saying he lost 80lbs! Well I fowarded his email to several reporters who had written about him and he was forced to admit he had lost about 40lbs. My point is if you want to make money off people fine but do not lie and decieve them to do it. Also be very carful in this Yahoo group if you are negitive in any way Steve has people in there that will try to find out who you are and where you work and where you live. I have been threatened with violence and also trying to find where I work to get me fired. Anyway that's the scoop. Cheers, gimbal36 wrote: I do find it odd that after claiming to have hiked over 1000 miles, this guy has barely lost any weight. Definate lack of...something... going on, or just a ton of donuts, dunno. I thought the whole POINT was to lose weight? It does seem like he is spending an awful lot of time chowing down on chicken-fried steak and lounging around in hotels. One must ask, where DOES a person get that kind of money? Cuz hotels ain't cheap. Neither is eating out every day. And both eating out and lounging in hotels is only gonna make a person gain weight, especially if they refuse to exercise willpower re: mindless face-stuffing. I'd be interested in hearing what you have to say.
