Guest guest
: Here are a few abstracts about HCQ as an immune modulator - selectively supressing pro inflammatory cytokines. And like all effective drugs- it can have side effects- I've added one abstract at the end re muscle weakness. SELECTIVE cytokine regulation by HCQ http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi? cmd=Retrieve & db=PubMed & list_uids=8336306 & dopt=Abstract HCQ as a microglia modulator http://www.immuno2004.org/onlineabstracts/2322.html HCQ side-effects (muscle weakness). http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/cgi-bin/abstract/110433649/ABSTRACT wrote in part: Barb Peck's done a masterful job of documenting the value of HCQ in alkalizing the cell compartment to maximize both antibiotic and antifungal drug action against bugs, but it also has an immune mod effect which I don't entirely understand. i think it might be an interesting one to look at.
