Rationalization of greed is a very powerful, VERY destructive force.

There is a reason that people refer to the 'decay' of societies.

Decay is what happens when people don't care anymore. When greed

overtakes reason and decency.

I heard at some point that the health of a society can in some respect

be shown in the relative care that is taken

to protect its weakest members.. which is shown to no small extent by

the condition of its building stock.

We know that mold causes illness, we have known it for thousands of years...

Its even mentioned in the book of Leviticus in the Old Testament of the Bible.

You can't get older than that.
