Hi, Bill: I have seen this many times with adding folinic to the MB-12, and

usually just start them out together. About the rash, this note from Dr.

Neubrander should assure you: Dr. JM

Dear Jaquelyn,

I have had a rare patient complain of little white bumps on various parts of

the body. This is not at all surprising because MB12 spins the

homocysteine/methionine pinwheel. Roughly every other spin goes upstream to

give a methyl group to the brain and every other spin goes downstream to

produce a glutathione molecule. Glutathione is the major detoxification

molecule in our bodies. Therefore, by giving MB12 and spinning off more

glutathione, we can expect to see " glutathione-like

things " to happen. One of these " things " is to detox the body. There are

only 4 primary organ systems that are obvious to the detox process: liver,

kidney, lungs, and skin. Many of our children do not sweat or they sweat

excessively. Both of these phenomena are well known to those of us in

Envirionmental Medicine as biomarkers of impaired detox systems: either

really shut down or really revved up to compensate. Many of these children

will detox in a " relatively " greater way through the skin than through the

liver that is already stressed. Remember, these children are under

tremendous oxidative stress and the liver is the primary organ system that

is necessary to balance the attack. In essence it needs to " call out the

troops for backup " -- the skin being just one of the troops.

Therefore the " bump thing " is something to praise, not be alarmed about! It

is a sign of progress. " If " it is a side effect, than it is a well desired

one!

I hope this helps,

As always..........

Jim
