If you are my friend on FB you may have seen this already. Anyway on Father's day, a few weeks ago, woke up complaining of his side hurting. Well I of course thought it was his brace. I looked him over and didn't see any redness at all. The morning went on and we did the Father's Day stuff and talked about going to the lake AFTER we went to church. 10-15 minutes before we are walking out the door for church starts complaining of his tummy hurting. By chance he did feel rather warm too. And he is crying real tears. And keeps crying. My husband and I evaluate the situation and start thinking about how his side was hurting too. We call the pediatrician and they say we better head to the ER....sounds like appendicitis. Off we go, drop brother off at my sister's and start flying down the

highway. On the way there Mr. appears FINE! I am in the backseat with our patient because 10 minutes ago he was whimpering and moaning. We decide something is not adding up. We turn around pull into a parking lot and to talk to him. Long story short was lying because he wanted to go to the lake and not to church. He admitted this to us and I was SHOCKED!!!!! I could not get over that this little FOUR year old mind concocted this in his head to get out of going to church. My husband was MAD---I was shocked! We did go to the lake, but took his new gun away. That was major punishment for him. The doctor called on Monday to check on .....I had to tell her what happened. Now I have to really watch this sly little fellow. His brother's "strong willed child" fits are nothing compared to what will give us later on. He is a mess, but I thank God for this strong

personality. Sorry this was so long.......thanks for letting me share.TashaMommy of 4 year old twin boys- and Fort Worth, TexasSeries of 6 casts for 14 months and now in a night brace. is treated at Texas ish Rite Hospital. You can read 's story at....http://www.infantilescoliosis.org/stories.html--- On Sun, 7/5/09, infantile_scoliosis <infantile_scoliosis > wrote:From: infantile_scoliosis <infantile_scoliosis >Subject: Challenge time!, 7/6/2009, 12:00 amTo: infantile_scoliosis Date: Sunday, July 5, 2009, 10:47 PM

Bryce started daycare about a month ago and has adjusted extremely well. He is the big hit there and has stolen the hearts of everyone!!! He just struts down the hallway waving to everyone and saying hi to anyone that is in his path. I am sure he has turned around many bad days for people....how could he not :) And he's already signing some - of course the sign for "more" is his favorite at dinner...it is so cute :)

Bexon picks strawberries from our new yard. We're leasing a house in Los Angeles- we moved 4 days ago- and the owner had a garden we didn't know was still growing anything. He found them and ate them, dirt and all, so we decided to buy some organic strawberries and tuck them into the plants. He goes out every day and finds them- it's so cute! Like an Easter egg hunt every day. And every day he has new words. My new favorite was when he said to me, "GOOD JOB!" ; ) Heidi, Bexon's Mama, (24 months old, in 2nd cast from Salt Lake City Shriners, currently down from 61 degrees to 29)From:
