Guest guest
Today went for a walk with Phyllis and I. Phyllis placed in a wagon (provided by the hospital), then the nurse taped the IV stand to the back axle of the wagon, and we slowly walked the hallway pulling wagon and IV stand. loves to get out and see things. Smiling at all the people. They talked to us today about her tube, care of, and what to do if it comes out. Tomorrow is when they will start to feed her, checking how well she can take it. It just takes time to heal these things. Current plan, assuming all goes well, she will get to come home on Monday. As they check how well she takes food via the tube, the diatrition (sp?) will determine if we feed her regularly as we eat, or via a night pump. Phyllis finally got outside for a short walk. She has been at laura's side since last tuesday. seems to like the tylenol for pain relief better than the morphine. She is smiling now when people are in giving her attention. She has a couple of music toys and stuffed animals. Keven kpmiller@...
