Guest guest
VERY nice. Provides lucid explanations for many of the terms we come across constantly in studies of various pathogens and the immune responses they provoke. Also very good for reminding the reader how new much of this science is, so that as you read along you're not just getting a clearer sense of the framework infection studies are using but it's recent vintage. Who knew we owe the word " Toll " in 'toll-like receptor' to a piece of german slang meaning 'fantastic!', uttered by a scientist amazed by a fruit-fly mutation! This is a great reference, Jill. Thanks so much for sharing it. S. > http://herkules.oulu.fi/isbn9514273257/isbn9514273257.pdf
