Guest guest
Many Canadians support the war effort in Afghanistan and Canadians are proud of their soldiers serving in this Country. We belive it is an important contribution to democracy. I am writing about it here since we have many female members and also since Steve is a soldier himself. Capt. Goddard's service is an inspiration to many people who want to change and make better things in this world. Canada's Armed forces lost a female combat soldier, and the first woman from Canada to die in combat since the second world war (WWII). Capt. Nichola Goddard, 26, was killed Wednesday during a battle with the Taliban outside of Kandahar. http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/national/2006/05/18/beam-goddard.html http://www.cbc.ca/story/world/national/2006/05/18/afghanistan- surge.html Best regards from Bill P.S. if you don't like the comment , just pass over it.
