Guest guest Posted August 23, 2005 Report Share Posted August 23, 2005 hi barb - flagyl has been extremely helpful to me ...first with my ileus' and now if i go into a long tailspin...i'm on plaquenil and biaxin (in no small part due to you - thanks) and add flagyl in for one week a month....with flagyl i occasionally get really bad cramps and diarrhea and then feel much better - also had a day or so with excruciating wrist pain when i moved my wrist - thought i was getting a carpal tunnel thing though it cleared in a day or so... am also doing kmt daily - helping?? and a gluten free diet - i think that really is helping... am two weeks into stephen buhner's core protocol of andrographis, cat's claw, and resveratrol...if you haven't read his book - HEALING LYME , raven press - it's excellent - tells which herbs do what to different cytokines, etc, etc etc - gets quite scientific...i.e if late stage lyme don't want to use astralagus as that hypes the th1 system. even more...., resveratrol helps with the mmp's affected in lyme dx...... good luck with whatever you decide to do, deb ps as you can see, my philosophy is throw everything at the buggers, something has to work!!!
