Yet I have mild adrenal insufficiency but I am positive this is due to the Pituitary being slightly damaged imeediately after childbirth 30 years ago. Dr Peatfield here in the UK is positive that this Pituitary problem leading to mild adrenal insufficiency is more common than realised and that viruses like Epstein Barr can also harm the Pituitary as well as operations like hysterectomies where there can be a large loss of blood. Sheenhans' Syndrome is the name given to this when it happens immediately after childbirth. Pam
Guest guest
Excellent to know -- and as a FYI, EBV is a APS infection (i.e. known to trigger coagulation). As a reminder to others: it's a model, not reality --- something that describes the general cases, not specific cases. > > Just put it together to deal with a back-channel email... > > > > http://www.lassesen.com/cfids/hypoadrenal.htm > > Hi Ken > > Dr Peatfield here in the UK is positive that this Pituitary problem > leading to mild adrenal insufficiency is more common than realised > and that viruses like Epstein Barr can also harm the Pituitary as > well as operations like hysterectomies where there can be a large > loss of blood. > > Sheenhans' Syndrome is the name given to this when it happens > immediately after childbirth. > > Pam
