He always ...without fail....gets VERY romantic in the recovery area. He says funny things, talks about my hair,pinches or pats my bottom, asks me to get into the bed...you get the picture....AND he's never quiet about it!!! The nurses just laugh and Ed never remembers anything about it! Oh my goodness!!! Love,Jill We don't remember days, we remember moments. Terry's has always been a friendly/flirty type and he's hilarious when he's medicated. After his accident, they had him doped up on morphine for the pain in the trauma assesment area. My sister and I were there with him. He rolled his head toward my sister and said " Stand up " , so she stood up. He said " Turn around " , so she turned around. He then just so matter-of-factly said " You know, you'd be a good lookin woman if you'd do something about that hair " ! My sister and I all the nurses around just laughed hilariouly!!!! Then, they brought in a man who had been in an accident and who was high on cocaine. He kept hollering out " I want my cocaine! Who got my cocaine?! " . Terry was a smoker at that time and had been asking for a cigarette which, of course, he couldn't have. When heard this dude raving about his cocaine, he looked at me and said " I just want to know why he can get cocaine and I can't get a cigarette?! " ! Again, everyone in earshot just rolled laughing!!!! It's sad, he was in so much pain, but he was DARN FUNNY!!!!!! Hugs. Diane Diane Diane, So glad to hear things look good, now to fix that ulcer. He has been sick with differnt things for a while, but he was diagnosed with end stage liver disease this last April. He did not persue transplant due to other health issues. Bobby, I think, knows the name of the disease. Help me out here, Bobby?! Anyway, has deteriorated very quickly. More so than anyone else I can think of at this time. Don't get lost in the sink!!!! Because I have no assets, I qualify for Arizona state insurance. When I turned 65, they selected the best primary care policy for me, similar to medicare, and they became the secondary payor and pay the rest. I have trouble remembering all the strains on here, there is no way I could try to make the decisions a lot of you have to make. Here's some irony for ya, I joined this group to help my stepsis who had cirrohsis. NOW, my blood work looks like my liver & kidney aint happy. How IRONIC ! It could be many other things, an auttoimmune disease? lots of stuff, I don't knowwwww theres too many things to worry about so I'm NOT GONNA WORRY till the fat lady sings ( & I'm not singin yet hehehe) I don't drink but I am on pain meds. Maybe that's it? I just don't knowwww. The blood work DOE'S explain why I feel like crapola LOL ! He says the pain is there, but not quite so bad as the last few days. I know it's because everyone has been prying so much. I cannot tell you how thankful I am. I pray you have a wonderful day.
