Guest guest
I generally say that is what the vet gives me for my horse and my dog, uses IV and orally and it is good enough for me. Also many people have used " vet grade " DMSO for the past 35 years and I have yet to hear of any issues. Industrial grade is what I would personally a void. And as always it is a matter of personal discernment. As you point out even pharmceuticals are not 100% safe. Nothing is and those who want gurantees might want to start with rethinking their food supply or the next meal they eat in a restaurant. Not to be flippant but the issues of acetone and heavy metals are the two risks that I know of. As I have pointed out before acetone has a very strong smell in in very small amounts. Think nail polish remover, which has acetone. Heavy metals are an issue if it was made from an impure water supply, mostly a third world country issue. If they simply must have assurances then they can get a prescription for Rimso-50, a 50% Pharmaceutical grade DMSO available from a pharmacy.
