This substance and its virtues comes up on many lists. I have the book by Stanley et al called The Miracle of MSM, The Natural Solution for Pain, which is a very interesting read. (Could this be the same as the one you are referring to Garnet?) All I know about DMSO is from reading on the lists and have searched in Australia for a place to purchase it. As it is banned here and most fodder stores unfamiliar with it it's quite a hunt to find a supplier. Thanks to a lady from another list, I have been given a supplier in Western Australia which I will follow up this week. Keep fingers crosssed!! I have been using MSM for at least 12 months mainly for pain relief and as an aid in detox, also in mixtures (with CS) for recurring ear fungus problem which my dog is plagued with. This is Dr 's earlier book. Go to Amazon.com and do a search on MSM and on DMSO. You will find a number of books on both topics. His more recent book is suppose to have info on DMSO and references to scientific articles. I am looking there today myself and finding a number of books on DMSO. I plan to order a few and will post reviews to the list. I encourage others to do the same. Some of the books on DMSO are from the early 80's and available used.
