Guest guest
we have an opportunity. i have a state legislator that has given me a commitment to introduce legislative changes to nebraska's law goverening farmers ability to direct market raw dairy products. what he needs from me is a copy of a statute from another state to model his proposal. could i ask for the groups assistance in locating what is considered the most liberal state in this area and ask for a copy of the statute to be emailed to me..i have heard that some possible states to consider are arizona, new mexico, california, alaska...but i do not have specifics and do not know if other states may be more liberal.. i do know that most states list all statutes on the internet .if a person knows how to locate the proper statutes on this topic then it should be easy to copy and forward. dave wetz@... I can't tell you who's the most liberal, but I can point you to the New Mexico laws: http://nmdabeb.nmsu.edu/NMAC/AES/DB/rawmilk.htm [it seems to be down now, but will hopefully come back on-line.] --alan
